I would just like to thank everyone that donated, sponsored, wished me look and that were thinking of me yesterday. After paying a visit to Bangor hospital after Emma (my wife) had an anaphylactic reaction to medication, I still managed to go on and do the tour de mon sportive cycle event at Anglesey. I finished within the 3 hours I had set myself and my finish time was 2:47 for the 40 miles and the flying mile down Raf Valley airfield was 2min 17seconds (www.chiptimes.biz) I am extremely pleased with myself for this and will not be stopping here. I have had thoughts of starting a cycle club and would welcome any feedback from anyone willing to help and join. Thanks again to you all. That’s the power of Georgie. Leigh and Andy did so well at the Tour de Mon. Andy completed it in 2hrs 24 minutes, beating his personal goal by 16 minutes and coming 29th overall in their category. Leigh completed the event in 2 hours 49 minutes coming 111th overall. Not bad for someone who bought a bike at the beginning of June when we lost Georgie.
